Justin Ferguson’s jewellery is all made by hand. Silver is roughly beaten and peened (surface texture) to create a refraction of light. The beads are made by melting silver wire to create molten balls, left to cool then drilled; high quality paua from the deep south all brought together with hand woven durable linen cord.
Justin’s style has been influenced by living and learning art in Golden Bay and Nelson. He now predominantly works with silver.
Justin currently lives and works on the rugged south coast of Wellington with his wife and son of Te Rarawa and Te Aupouri decent.
